Terms and Conditions
Last updated: July 3, 2026
These Terms govern the use of Hogarly (“the app”, “the service”). By creating an account or using the app, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
1. What Hogarly is
Hogarly is an application for organizing family household life: chores and rewards, a shopping list, a meal plan, a calendar, a notice board and polls. During the testing phase, use is free; in the future the service will run on a monthly subscription (see the Payments section).
2. Payments and subscription
- Hogarly operates (or will operate) through a monthly subscription per family of $100 MXN (current price; it may change with advance notice). A single subscription covers the whole family.
- Payment is made outside the app (by bank transfer or another agreed means); Hogarly does not process payments or store card data within the application.
- Near the due date and after it, you will see a notice inside the app to renew. We do not cut off access automatically; if the subscription is not renewed, we may limit or suspend the service after notifying you.
- Because this is a low-cost, monthly service, unless applicable law provides otherwise, amounts already paid for a current month are non-refundable; you may cancel at any time so as not to renew.
3. Your account
- You must provide truthful information when registering and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activity that occurs in your account. Let us know if you detect unauthorized use.
- To create an account you must be of legal age. As the household organizer, you are responsible for the use made by the members of your family to whom you grant access.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Hogarly to:
- Engage in illegal activities or activities that infringe the rights of others.
- Upload offensive or unlawful content, or content you have no right to share.
- Attempt to access other families’ data, breach the security of the service or interfere with its operation.
- Abuse the service through automation, overload or unauthorized reverse engineering.
5. Your content
The content you create (chores, notes, lists, etc.) is yours. In order to provide the service, you grant us a limited license to store it and display it within the app to the members of your family. You are responsible for the content you upload and for having the right to share it.
6. Availability and “as is”
The service is offered “as is” and “as available”. We make a reasonable effort to keep it running and to protect your data (including periodic backups), but interruptions, changes or errors may occur. Because this is a free service, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. If at any point we decide to discontinue the service, we would try to notify you with reasonable advance notice so that you can export or keep your information.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Hogarly will not be liable for indirect or incidental damages or for the loss of data arising from the use of, or the inability to use, the service. We recommend keeping a copy of any information you consider important.
8. Suspension and cancellation
- You may stop using Hogarly and delete your account at any time from My account → Delete account.
- We may suspend or cancel accounts that breach these Terms or abuse the service, trying to give notice when possible.
9. Changes to the Terms
We may update these Terms. If the change is relevant, we will notify you; the date above indicates the last update. Continued use of the service after a change implies its acceptance.
10. Governing law and contact
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. For any matter, and prior to any other recourse: hola@hogarly.app.
